I am Chili. I play thirty-plus instruments and I have spent my life around gear that gets used hard. These straps carry my name because I make them. Every one is cut from full-grain hide and stitched by hand on a vintage machine in my Burlington shop. Not a factory. Not outsourced. Me, the bench, and the leather.

Materials and construction
Full-grain, vegetable-tanned
Not split leather, not bonded leather. Full-grain develops a patina with use and lasts decades. The same material used in high-end belts and bags, because a guitar strap takes the same daily load.
Solid brass and nickel
Strap buttons, adjustment hardware, and snaps are solid metal. No chrome-plated zinc that strips after a year of adjustment. Everything sized to hold the weight it's asked to hold.
Saddle-stitched by hand
Machine stitching fails at one hole. Saddle stitching, two threads locked in a figure-eight, holds even if individual threads wear through. The standard in quality leather goods for 200 years.
